I wouldn't want to get in a fight with Bubba. Doubt if there's anyone alive that he couldn't drag into his tank & turn into a Scooby snack if he wanted to.

they do say jonah was swallowed by a whale but that its not possible for even the biggest whale to swallow anything larger than 8 inches, in diameter

so it had to be a big fish

Wish I could look into Bubba's eyes too... But I think Joey would get beaten by Bubba in a wrestling fight and maybe EATEN.

Bubba was on New Bred Vets on Animal Planet last night. They had to remove a huge mass from his head. It was quite interesting as I had just read this post the day before and there was Bubba. They told the story of how he showed up on the doorstep in a bucket etc.... The stats on the fish they gave were 6 feet 400 pounds!!!! He was definately a MONSTER. The surgery was a success and Bubba lived another day..

Here's a link from the Shedd aquarium site with more info. It says that Bubba is about 140lbs but Queensland groupers can typically reach 6ft and weigh 600lbs. It also states that he was originally left with a receptionist in a small cooler which is contrary to what I posted initially. I thought he was left in a bucket on the steps.
Forgot to mention that Bubba had cancer removed from his head!
