I just saw the movie Seven Pounds with Will Smith and in it his character has a tank with a box jellyfish. It's in quite a few scenes.

Just watched "Dahmer" from 2002 It appears he has a community tank in his living room........... Imagine what those poor fish witnessed...

In tne 1978 movie"The Silent Partner", the bad guy, Christopher Plumber kills the good guys(Elliott Gould) girl-friend by cutting(sawing!!) off her head on the broken 55 gallon tank in his appartment. (I was traumatized for days)

THE GODFATHER, PART I. There's a scene where Tessio (Abe Vigoda) and Clemenza (Not sure what is name is) are talking to Michael (Al Pacino), and Tom Hayden (Robert Duvall) and Don Corleone (Marlon Brando) about breaking away from the family. Marlon Brando is feeding his angel fish and what appears to be platies or swordtails. He's got an old 10 gallon metal-framed tank. Keep in mind that the movie is set in the 1940's - 1960's and was actually filmed in '72.
