Fancy goldfish (Pearlscale) - reoccuring 'blister' , now can't float?! Wife worried!

Bump and a picture from the wife's phone...again 'post op' of the area while healing and the blister is still growing. Started feeding medicated food- couldn't hurt, right? W/C tonight and adding salt.

Any recomendatins on temp for fancy goldfish?

Jungle brand Anti parasitic, but medicated and all I had (I only have about 1/2 a teaspoon left). Actively looking for antibacterial food though.

I'll give it a try- anti bug AND bacterial. Perfect.

just do a large wc first, then remove the carbon from filters(but leave the bio stuff), and treat.

I do not use carbon in any of my systems, so no worries there. I would like to find a local source for this- I'll hit up the best dry goods LFS in my area and see if they have the right meds.

Update. Fish still on the bottom of the tank, blister is getting worse, medicated food doing nothing...

Update.

'Fido' is still on the bottom of the tank-but curiously, the angry red spot is healing up. temp lowered to room temp (68*?) and added about 2 tblsp of ecoli73's medication over a 2 week period, but I think it was temp. related... I really would like her to swim right again though-I tried feeding cooked peas (shucked) till she pooped green- 2 weeks later and still on the bottom. Any other remedies (home or science) suggestions will be tried!
