Fancy goldfish tankmates?

Anybody know any fish that could live with them in a 60 gallon with temperature about 77 degrees. So far i put an angel fish and ti seems to be ok.

.They like different water than cichlids....I think cold water species should be accommodated the same as tropical should.

With goldfish, you will want your temperature no higher than 74 degrees. Angelfish on the other hand prefer the opposite end therefore both are incompatible in terms of their requirements. Besides, angels are liable to harass the goldfish as the fancy strains of the latter are slow moving.

Ill just put the angel fish in another tank. I have fancy goldfish and a lot of sources say they need warm water because of their bodies. So any tankmates for them?

With fancies, it's best to just keep them with other fancy goldfish. Even single tailed goldfish can out-compete them for food because they don't have the physical deformities to slow them down.

some of the temperate loach eg. weather loach they make good scavengers aswell.

With fancy Goldfish, I find the best temperature for them is between 72F-75F Dojo Loaches always seems to be good company with them.

ive always kept mountain minnows with mine !
they have a huge temperature range and ive kept them at room temp with the fancies with no problems !
but if your looking for a cleaner then you cant go wrong with a few apple snails (although keep an eye open for eggs near the lights as they are prolific spawners !)

creek chubs and dace can give your goldfish bacterial infections VERY VERY EASILY! Try a sarasa comet, ryukins, ranchu (my personal favorite) and other orandas and more bubble fish lol
