ya his eye is clouded and prob will be the rest of his life now
i hink he got nicked by a rays stinger....
the tank is a 4'x8'x2' 450 gal w a 200 gal sump, 50 gal pup tank, and a 50 gal bio reactor. more info can be found if u dig through my threads.
Fang and the bass r still getting along "ok" lol
Fang is only about 2 or 3 yrs old now... hes prob close to the 2' mark

my girlfriend did a heck of a recording job while i was dropping the food in How much success do you think I will have with the setup I have him in now. I know alot of people are skeptical about me keeping him with atf, but aside from that, is this setup not optimal, but sufficient to house something that big given you have the experience?

the bad thing about the atf is that he will keep darting over the armatuses head. the armatus will eventually get too ticked off.

You are absolutely right........ATF on the top, he nudges him from below constantly. He doesn't try to bite him though. There aren't too many signs of aggression. But I can say....The armatus went from 6" to 10" in a month. I had no Idea that it would grow that fast. It's bigger than everything in there now which I'm not too happy about.

I had that combo for a hot second... you cant even sleep comfy. My GATF was 14" and Armatus was around 10-12" in a 300. Armatus was not aggressive but only to my 6" Geos. I dont even think it would of lasted a yr. My Armatus was 16.5" when I sold him n I got him at 2" a year before I sold him. GATF to this day has grown 1.5" in some other guys tank.
I was to scared to keep them together and tapped out
(to much money for me to flush down the drain
)
