Thanks, I was pretty darn surprised, too. As of the end of yesterday, I think that I needed around 40 points to win by a hair with two guys still to play and the opponent having no one left to play.
Haha, I was surprised as to how well he performed! I definitely have to agree that it's best to watch how he does against Green Bay, too. If he does very well there, then I don't see why he can't take Carolina pretty far this year.

the champ is back........my laptop stopped working saturday night, just got the problem solved last night. who's sunday do i get to ruin this week? hahaha.
i lost both my starting WRs to injuries last week and i'm #4 on waiver and don't want to drop down to last so i'm riding with what i have on my bench....iosh crib and mike sim walker. Scary!

Cam Newton is already making me regret not starting him this week, he's already thrown one touchdown on his first drive. Oh Well.
I'm glad that I picked up Newton in my other league; I might end up starting him over Michael Vick in that league if he does better than Vick this week! I'm hoping that Ted Ginn Jr. can pull off a similar performance to what he did last week, too!
^ i picked up newton in another league too but i've got stafford starting in all my leagues today.
Ya, Stafford is definitely a safer bet for today over Newton; Newton still needs to prove himself so more before he's a safe bet for starting.
Stafford is the man but wow @ newton putting up 400 yards again. i feel safe playing newton on staffords bye week and i don't even know who he's playing that week yet lol.
ugh 35 points sitting on the bench again, i think i can officially say Cam Newton will be one of my starters next week. Now hopefully Eli can go out there tomorrow and pick up enough points for me to justify starting him over Newton.
