Fantasy Football MFK League again

ditto but mine kept going with the my pre draft ranking list that i made so i didn't get screwed.

here's the problem with this league and rankings.....most rankings do not add in PPR (point per reception) and Return Yards so almost every publication you read will most likely be inaccurate for OUR league. i'm positive no ranking system had danny amendola in the top 75 but he was our top WR in our league last year (i think roddy white and dwayne bowe were the top WR in regular leagues). just keep that in mind when you're viewing the weekly rankings or pre season rankings. most publications/websites will say "standard scoring system", we're not standard

That's why I entered our leagues scoring settings into the website I was using to determine who to draft.
 
you are so smart. i was unaware that you could do such things other then PPR. i won't ask for your secret so you can keep your advantage
 
The one reason I hate doing the draft is because I anticipate the start of the season so much more! Come on season!

I have my money draft a week from tomorrow. I got first in that last year with a nice $600 prize.

I went through each matchup in our league and made my predictions of the winners. You guys should go in and do that too. It will give us something to do while waiting....

Nah, I'll give up my secret since I want it to be fair: I made a free account on ffltoolbox.com and went from there.

I probably should have adjusted my pre-draft rankings more than I did, though, since the autodraft thing on Yahoo seems to draft based on standard league rankings.
 
^ it sure does, and forget about ranking defensive players, it basically ranks all CBs randomly first then SS and so on.

yes, but i only think it'll effect them the first 6-7 weeks. i intentionally did not draft a single rookie except julio jones (the falcons seem to be force feeding him the ball to speed up his learning curve in the pre season games) because i think they need the reps. i expect big veterans teams to come flying out of the gates and alot of lopsided games versus some of these lesser teams with new coaches or QBs
 
My first rounder is now officially currently a bench player. Johnson needs to stop complaining about his contract and play.

Luckily I picked up his replacement, I think that should help me until he comes back, or if he ever does.
 
Ya, I was looking over some stuff and realized that I messed up big time in the draft in the WR area, but I was able to correct my mistake plus tweak my other positions to my satisfaction (for now). Knowing me, I'll probably change my mind many more times...

I only have one rookie, and he's a defensive player, so I don't see him as too big of a gamble. On the other hand, Cam Newton seemed like too big of a gamble to me, so I dropped him in favor of picking up another WR.
