There is massive flight of big businesses from states like Michigan, New York and California to Texas and other states in the south. Hmm...I can only imagine why...must be the weather...yeah the weather...

or maybe profit margin at the top of the food chain?

it's not always friendly to those at the very top...strong union state(especially within the entertainment industry) ..so more geared to middle class's more immediate well being

Texas, does not have state income tax so big saving for corporations. The property tax is higher then Cali but the state government give them huge discount. The property tax is close to 3% so if you own a home that is worth $300k except to pay around $500 to $600 dollar on top of your mortgage every month.
