Thanks for the kind words,I dont think I will get another emp anytime soon though unless a 300 plus gallon tank falls into my lap lol.It had not eaten for about two weeks and it would just hang in the middle of the tank so I suspected that something was wrong but all the other fish seems to be fine and eating normally but it showed no other symptoms so I do not kow what its ailment was.The fish is in my freezer atm and we are going to bury it in the yard although I have one in-law who seriously wants to eat it.
 
Consider yourself lucky to have kept the Tanganiykan shark! I didn't even know that these fish were available. Monster fishkeepers indeed! Don't let your relative eat your longtime companion.

Yes I read about that,the locals prize the fish for its meat and mine felt to be at least five pounds in weight.I actually had my Oreochromis Tangnyikae taxidermied but it did not come out well at all,the process is not cheap so I wont be going that route.
