  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
cool pics would be great, im just wonderin about these tubs because, if a veiwing window can be added (diy) you can make a nice from around the tub with wood, to make it look cool.

Now you're complaining about the height? I'm simply posting an option. Get what you want.

As far as reaching the bottom, ...a little ingenuity will achieve that. Long handled nets and adapting maintenance tools, like this python, will result in less armpit dipping.
don't we all have a right to state our own opinions on here on a subject as far as height of a plastic tank without someone getting offended that they dissagree???? I'm like you just stating my personal experiance and besides I'm not the one who was asking the questions.

....well let's refer to the fist post. I was referring this to a shark and ray tank. So height really doesn't mater. Its all about the length and the width..... so now that i've been look at that tank....it's pretty tall and pretty useless for sharks and rays.....

Well - if your looking for a small pond for keeping small benthic sharks such as bamboo sharks, Epaulettes or Coral Catsharks, or small stingrays such as round stingrays - then something like the Farmland tub should do quite nice.

8ft in diameter x 2 ft deep should be nice for such species.

bonnethead in the 9ft or still pretty small for one?

Little too small for a bonnet. A 9' tub would be ok for a 12" or smaller bonnet for a little while but I would suggest having something 12' or lager to even start thinking about bonnets. Also I wouldn't put one in a small pool like that unless you have a good amount of experience with sharks of this nature and a much larger setup to move the shark to once it has grown.
