I think mustangs are good for drags, not drifting. So an import would possibly beat that rustang. I wonder what part of LA theyre shooting at, I wanna go check it out.

All of the fast and furious movies were jokes. Couldnt watch any of them to the end.

Well, if you follow a little about the drifting competitions...the domestics (Mustang, GTO, & Viper) Have been dominating the "sport"..... You need horse power to spin the wheels and rear wheel drive.....

im not against all imports....Im currently buildy my new project car of a 94 RX7 with a 383 FI w/2 40 series turbos witha 6spd behind it....motor is in....just having to get the headers made....No substitue for cubis inch...size does matter! :headbang2

Ive had some V8s, cubic inches are fun, but gas is killing me. Now I have a 4 banger and its fine for now. I would love a skyline though, cubic inches got nothing on the skyline.

there is no replacement for displacement (as far as power is concerned). Period. technology is a substitute, not a replacement. take the same technology as the skyline and throw it on a big CI engine and you have more power. Skylines are impressive though, i will agree with that.
You can also get decent mileage out of a V-8. I get 32mpg on the highway in my aurora. (4.0L dual overhead cam northstar)

32? Jeez, thats pretty good for a 4L. I had a jeep that went 15-16 on the freeway, 21 if I drove speed limit, it was a 5.2L.
