Threads about cars/movies with cars always crack me up. Everyone always gets out the measuring stick and tries to compare two completely different cars.
Yes, there are a lot of Japanese cars that aren't near as cool as some think. But, there are also some serious BA cars as well that are in fact RWD. Supra, 300ZX, RX7.... Hell, I had an Acura Integra that would make most muscle cars look stupid.
There are a lot of American made cars that aren't as cool as people think as well. I've seen a junkyard built FWD, 2.2L Dodge Omni smoke a Viper. So much for $100,000 worth of "American muscle". The new generation of "muscle cars are just ugly (Camaro, Charger, Challenger, Mustang), IMO. Why is it that the body panels are 3 foot tall? Nothing better than 60s & 70s muscle.
Some people just can't accept that cars are just fun, regardless of where they came from. Why not both?
