Afrcan aros grow the fastest. I've had a bunch of dfferent monsters and afros grow the quickest by far. I raised a 3" baby to about 17-18" in a little over a year.

from personal experience of growing them ( I cant remember the order though )

aligator gar, Red tail cat , sorubimichthys planiceps , and channa micropeltes all grew stupidly quick.
