red devils and definitely peacock bass, would all be nice editions. Golden Dorado, Brycons,African Pike, Armatus, Small mouth bass, large mouth bass.... Havent seen any of these over 30 inches. PBB would work too.

Two pbass and a cat (which one?) - maybe a FL gar as well?

spiney eel + gar = nice setup. what about bowfin?
if you go cichlids festea imo are the way to go,or dovii... do a pair or single big male. ive heard they make great wet pets like oscars.. but are more uncommon. but any ca/sa set up is going to fall in the fast growing catagory.

Dont like the looks of dovii. Im looking at red tiger motaguense, and festae would be cool as well.
The only thing Im worried about with cichlids like these is then I end up just having a cichlid tank. I really dont want that, I want as many different kinds of fish and fish as possible.

Any comments on catfish? Could get a vulture right now for $140. However ill be in LA in 9 days, and will probably be able to get a tig for cheap.
