Hey we all know molly are slow but swordtail i noticed are really fast even compared to endlers

I just got 20 given to me but they are really nice kind bright colors

Do you think they would make good dithers for semi aggressive? like yellow labs or electric jacks or jewels?

Usually mbuna are too aggressive unless you are stocking a large school of swords to your mbuna. I have raised them with jewels with many floating plants/hiding spots and they seem to last but i have lost many to aggression, depends on the individual temperament of your cichlid.

they are all small lol i do have a peaceful jd in there, my super aggressive tank six footer has salvini, pike cichlids, oscar full grown, so that tank obv no. WELL its not a super aggressive just a super predatory tank purple wolf fish, needle nose fish. I tried putting a tilapia butt in there and it started to cause hell lol SO i took it out.

i am getting a huge acrylic tank today hopefully so maybe i can get some real aggressive cichlids that can handle my tilapia. But for now i can only have fish up to six inches who are aggressive as my oscar will end up getting picked on. STRANGE THING is my oscar boss of the tank even my frog headed pike who is evil is afraid of fighting with the oscar. THe pike is same length. But red devils, beani, red terrors i can only keep up to six inches. I have a salvini in there though. A single red belly prianah given to me freew ith a missing eye who is very peaceful.

After great advice from the experts here, I put some swordtails in with my Jack Dempsey and they are fine (well the male died, but he never looked healthy). The only issue is the JD is crazy about eating fry lol.
