I have mostly catfish, and other fish that people here can't house properly. I basically talk people out of their fish, but I find a lot of times that other people's fish have bad habits like only eating goldfish, or only eating flakes, and they either die from clean water, or get fed to the big boy lol. He got a 13" oscar that refused to eat anything for the 3 months I had it. It was supposed to be albino, but it was greenish in color, and just wouldn't eat. I couldn't stand to see it suffer longer to I thought it would make a better tank mate for my 37.5" hybrid lol. Guess 13" doesn't mix with 37.5". 13" oscar seems big till you put it in the tank with something about 3x it's length and probably 30x or more heavier. He still ate a ton of shrimp that night, and his belly didn't seem to bulge that much. Too bad you are in Canada I might consider giving you another TSN that this idiot(I mean uninformed guy) I know has. Thinking of collecting some stone cats, and bullheads for MFK this spring and summer.
at last check... I really should try to messure him again since the TSN has been in there with him he's been hogging more food than normal, I think he's trying to out grow Tigger who is 18"
