Fat French Carp

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It is deffo the same fish lol it looks the exact same. Lots of the carp I catch in France have jaws partially deformed, I asked the owner of a lake and he told me it was people using braid on their hooklengths cut into the carp's mouths. Not bad for a week's fishing:D

wow.... what kind of hook you are using?

Fang X for ultra-snaggy swims. Made from the highest quality Japanese carbon, these are the sharpest hooks on the market.(for the gage they are thick)

But Dan right for 95% of my UK fishing I use Gardner Mugga Hooks there a very similar pattern I would use ether of theses hooks no problem for my UK and French fishing.

Thats mad what are the chances of that !

looks like it's had it's lower jaw ripped off or is it just some deformaty ?

He is a known fish they call him curtains due to his mouth he was stocked like that I would not be surprised if he did it with braid as monsternoob explained as I said before I have caught him twice now and he fight like a mad thing.

how do you know if thats the same exact fish?
Mirror carp are easily recognisable as they have there own scale patterns that are only common to that fish also as I explained the owner of the lake stocked that fish a 20lb a few years back and he is the only fish in the lake to have a face like that.
