i had a P.senegalus that can't stop to eat - and "exploded" internally!!! This had been the only long-kept poly that died in one of my tanks ...
OK - it's a female sen ... and female sens tend to be a bit fatter than males (onset of egg production ... after breeding they are looking quite normal for a short time) - but that's a bit too heavy!
How often you are feeding your polys in that tank? Are there any dominant feeders (maybe this female sen?)?

Well he is in a tank with 30 senegals,he is just a pig.

I understand it is unhealthy but should i have a diet poly tank for pigs like this?

How do you stop a piggy from eating like this?
 
It doesn't look like a happy little senegal but be careful senegals will over eat some times its like they don't know when to stop
 
i don't know if this would work but i've noticed if i broke up the massivore pellets or cut shrimp smaller and spread the food out my other bichirs can usually get more food as the sen takes the same amount of time to suck down a 1/4 pellet as a whole one. just an idea
