Fav fish in your tank?

I love all my fish but I do have my favorites. I hate to pick just one but my tiger oscar has been with me longer than any other fish at this point. Though I was interested in fishes (even went to college for fishes) she was one of the first fish I kept that really kicked off the hobby.

Growing fast in popularity is my Midas cichlid, I have always loved the species and just bought one a week ago, he's growing on me fast.

I like all my fish...each have their own thing I like about them.

Some of my favourites are my 14" datnoids, my cichla and my AULs.

Rally, I got both these fish on great deals from LFS. The plec came from a shop up in spokane that had the fish priced at $40! I was bouncing off the walls when I got him home!

The Fahaka was free from a shop right here in town.

I miss my tiger oscar. He just passed away. He died from a pair of convicts that are in heat. The male must have claimed the whole tank because it would charge anything that it could see. I didn't see the behavior in time to save him. When I got home from work he was already dead with the male convict still slammin' him. What I don't understand is how a full grown oscar (I had him for 6 years) would let a 1 to 2 inch long convict stress him. It's a scooby snack, just eat him and go about your business. I moved the convicts to a seperate tank so they wouldn't cause any more probs. I certainly didn't want them going after my baby jag. I came real close to donating them to the pacu tank they have at my lfs. (the pacu's are over a foot)

What I'm going to miss about my round is his hatred for the pleco that I bought at the same time as him. He would constantly barf gravel on him, the occasional dump here and there. No love for my pleco, lol.
