borleyi (Kadango), never had a peaceful one but def great colors.

I've had 3 or different Protomelas. was into Red Empress but bought some drab that turned colorful.

obliquidens seem to be the eye catchers though when people looked into the tank.

don't know where my pics are but tehy weren't good anyway...

Similar linneage to dragon blood or strawberry or whatever- hybrids of a different strain.

Sorry I got a little carried away. I really loved that fish. He was interesting project. I bought him to see if I could get better color with NLS. He was an adult fish about 4" when I got him. He hardly had any color .Here is a link http://www.cichlid-food-canada.com/gallery.html

I like the red shouldered peacock, I have a pair in with some frontosas in a 125 g. I have had the female for many years and added a male a few months ago.

i am getting around 10 lithobates in the next two weeks tht ive ordered,
bloody nice looking once they get bigger...

my fav i have would have to be ... placidochrosmis milomo i have a male and female male is 10" girl is 7" will have to get some pictures soon....

there are many rare haps i would love tho :-D

I love my Lithobate. I want a milomo but I fear it will not do well in a 120 4fter...

This is an easy one for me Dimidiochromis compressiceps (Malawi Eye Biter)
this fish is just great, IMO!.

and one of the 2 I have now, this little guy is only around 2inches

would u put a peacock in with mbuna? I know they are pretty docile, but has anyone done it and what was the turnout
