My self I do love fronts but my fav are the comps/calvus...(Altolamprologus compressiceps Altolamprologus calvus) I have many different types. Most are kept with my front colony and buffaloheads. I have 4 Altolamprologus sp. "Compressiceps Shell" that will only grow to three inches for males. They are really fun. I keep them in with multies and will add other shelles in time.

all of those would be great additions to anyones tank. I also bet not many who serf this forum keep or have kept these... Would be nice feather in your cap... thanks for sharing...
i'm just waiting for som cash to fall from the sky to start a huge tank in my backyard.. ventralis and benthochromis are a must..!

Exactly. Dropping 4 of these in a tank is no big deal. Dropping 4 Fronts in and that precludes having about 10 more smaller fish. I want variety in my African Tank. A few of these, one of those, a couple of them, one of that, etc....I'm all over the place and it makes it just enjoyable to watch!!!
