I admire you sticking with your team. I notice you're another loonie from Minnesota. Yes, I'm a cheesehead!Aqualoon;3408777; said:Vikings![]()
While I admit Brett has a lot of one year potential in a non-cold environment I still think Tarvaris Jackson is the best long-term solution Minnesota has currently.
He needs to be coached better by a veteran QB who can teach him some of the ways to handle being under scrutiny. Otherwise he'll end up as washed up as another Joey Harrington. I hope he can learn a lot from Brett while he's there.
No matter what though, I hope the Vikings do worse than Green Bay every year from now until the end of football.

I still think Harrington would be a decent QB today had he started in a system with a proven QB to watch and learn from. This competition competitive system just doesn't seem to produce the quality QBs the league seemed to have had in years past (overall that is). Too much individualism in a team sport at the most pivotal position.
I hope the Lions are smart enough to go with Culpepper for now, and let Stafford acclimate to the big leagues. I hate seeing young players not being brought into the league correctly and their careers ending too soon.
