tool, mushroomhead, 8 foot sativa, volbeat are some of the main contenders.
Anything after slipknots first album is crap, even then, slipknots first album is pretty decent.
from what I've heard Amon Amarth are very very good. I'm having a mind blank of all the bands I listen to though.

RHCP, Aerosmith, Kings of Leon, Fallout Boy (but shhh keep that one quiet lol) Rammstein.

90's ..... metallica , nirvana , various other grunge .
now.... 3 days grace , disturbed , evanescence (something about amy's voice puts me in a trance !!!) seether , so on and so forth ... but godsmack is my all time fav!!!

1) The Beatles (always have been my favorite and always will)
2) Green Day (first secular music, besides oldies and classic rock, that I really listened to...got me into tons of other stuff)
3) The Offspring (especially Ixnay and before, but some after that are ok)
4) DMX
there are so many that it's really hard...gets harder as the list goes down
funny thing is that my favorite genres are Psychobilly and Underground Rap, but none are on that list
