the 12'+ snakes just seem lathargic to me and that looses a lot for me...
there is always the dwarf burm.. they only get 4-6 feet.:D but are $500-$700 as opposed to $75.:(

But the Carpet Pythons are more active, just as pretty and are less expensive...

I have nothing agaisnt these big guys, they just aren't what I look for in a pet...

I do hope that the people who do favor them seriously consider the next 25 years of their lives before investing in such an animal. At 19 or 20 years old it's easy to picture yourself as a big snake keeper for the rest of yoru life... but then a few years later we start getting married and having kids and priorities change...

Personally, I wish these snakes that had the potential to get 12'+ would have a price tag that reflected their potential demands... If these snakes costed $1,200 instead of $75 the everglades would have a lot less of them roaming around...

I think the cold spell in Florida killed alot of them.

I like all 3 alot.. Rock Pythons have a bad reputation.

not that I'd keep any of them but out of those probably retics. Would prefer a really nice looking amethystine though.

lucy retic :)
an incredible snake
but i really dont get what is so great about burms. they seem kind plain like a ball python. just my opinion. i used to breed ball morphs and that was cool for a whil but they just get old really fast.

Retics all the way, they have by far the coolest pattern.
but i dont really like any of them.I like oddballs like scrubs, olives, afrocks etc.
