Thanks for agreeing about the adonis... mine is about 6 inches long and he still has all those beautiful white spots on his jet black body.. one of these days i will get his picture..He is always out and about but never when i have my camera handy..

i like walking catfish however the whole damn genus seems to be illegal in the states. I've seen them around however. I dont have the nerve to risk my collection for the chance to keep such a neat species. I saw part of one in florida while fishing in big cypress it was floating past me in the canal took a little whiel to figure out what it was.
For me its a coin toss, i love black lancer catfish, but my Rita cat has some spunk tonight he was waging war with a spawning pair of convicts again. I finally had to remove the channel cat since he was beating the snot outa him at night. He's already down one eye (bought him that way) he cant afford to loose another one with out really being a special needs catfish. But either way i still like my grumpy Rita rita.

mines it the redtail catfish because of it's power ablity to swallow 3 paranis near it's own size
