Mack Bolan....Tom Cruise did Jack Reacher absolutely no justice on screen,Walberg's version of Bob Swagger wasn't all that great either but it wasn't as bad as Reacher...love reading those characters novels though.

My bad.... that goes back so far I just didn't remember... I knew a guy in high school who read the Executioner.. that was in the late 70's

Yeah,they are still written but not by the original author.His name still gets top billing on the current covers though he has been dead for years....There's Executioner,Stony Man,and Phoenix Force.

have you tried the DAVE ROBICHEAUX (james lee burke) novels...ITS a lot like STEPHEN HUNTER'S stuff but it's really well written ,,BURKE is considered , among writers ,as the great American crime novelist
