I like them all except loisellei. But I have 4 La Ceibas growing out. I love the yellows the females get.

Thats funny how everyone loves La Cieba, I on the other hand love the original Freddy...I think that its Yellowness sets it apart.

i think aquamojo had regular freds that were from escondido

Just don't know what's considered the "original Freddy." The type locality of the species is Lago Peten, Guatemala.

And according to CRC they're found in:
Cenote Escondido (Mexico, native), Chocolhaito River (Mexico, native), Lake Petén-Itza (Guatemala, native), Noh Lagoon (Mexico, native), Río Babahoyo (Ecuador, native), Rio Bascam (Mexico, native), Rio Danto (Honduras, native).

So I don't know what's considered "original" as far as the ORIGIN of the species--and not sure if that's referring to the species from an evolutionary standpoint or a hobby standpoint.
