Favorite Cichlid

My favorites that I have kept and breed are Herichthys Carpintis Escondido and Fenestratus "Catamaco". I also love everything cryptoheros, great little fish.

A couple I haven't breed or kept yet that I would like to work with is Regani and any of the Tomocichla

Pretty generic but I would say a black convict also. Hold their own and don't make a mess(attacking hand,filter,glass etc). I love the bigger guys just a lot of work with the splashing and moving decor all over the place right after you clean. I would love to own a dovi when I'm retired and have more time for him. My favorite is my midevil and my other amphilophid dream fish that I've yet to keep would have to be a either a trimac or argentea. Oh I almost forgot about my Vieja synspillum (I think)
