My favourite cichlids would have to be between my pair of Festae I used to have or my Tetracanthus pair.
I have recently picked up a pair of Amphilophus Citrinellus and a group of Neetroplus Nematopus which I am housing in a lake Nicaraguan Biotope which are quickly working their way onto my list of favourites.

They are jaguar cichlids from the lake Honduras. They usually have a much blue or greenish colors in the fins and have a more scatter pattern compared to the regular ones that have much more spot patterns.
Buttikoferi, stunning and tons of personality, not to mention they’re glass bangers.
I picked up a little male jaguar recently and he’s quickly becoming one of my favorites tho, so maybe that’ll change in the future.
