whats your favorite fish?? it can be fresh to salt water

For me it would be the Clown Knife. i love the look and watching them hunt. I look forward to keeping one in the future.

Hmmm... Singularly favorite??? :^/ Not so sure, I sorta have different favorite fish depending on what I want, love rays, hillstream loaches, julidochromis, threadfin rainbows, rope fish.

If I had to choose one it would be rope fish.

Love all parachromis fish. My fav to watch my 24 in silver aro or 14 im jardini. My fav colored one my synspilum pair. 8 in male and 4in female.

I don't subscribe to the "rarer is better" mindset so this may seem strange but: Convict Cichlid. Pound for pound (or ounce for ounce) I have never seen another fish with their ferocious disposition. They're cheap, readily available, breed easily, have a great personality, and look fantastic. What else could you want?
 
I have so many favorites for so many reasons. My clown knife, obviously, is one. My new puffer is a show stealer, and I adore that silly fish. There are ocean fish I can never have, but are favorites, too. It's so hard to choose just one.
