My favorite is catching brook trout out of beaver ponds. They arnt huge but they are fun to catch.

during the summer, I fish for variouse types fish in Polish lakes, most arn't too big, but they taste great!

what do you mean yet We can fish year round to and iam not talking about Ice fishing. The rivers dont freeze. unless you way up north

I don't have any good rivers to fish too close to me... I fished a small pond yesterday that wasn't iced over and the bass just weren't biting. The water was probably in the high thirties or low forties. I did catch a few blue gills though which made it a little more fun.
