I suppose. I'm so burned out on Van Halen that I cant even appreciate their stuff anymore. Just grates on my nerves, but once upon a time I thought it was the bee's knees.

yes, both of those bands are cheese, but the lead work stands out above the cheese.

Well, just real fast here, Ive got a million since Ive played guitar for 15 years or so, but Im starting you with one song. If you dont have this album, I think you will buy it now, it stands so very strong in so many ways and the entire album is this way. This song, it has stuck in my head as a kid and is still within my grasp at any minute. Listen to it all, its a short masterpiece, nothing to hard to play, just perfect. Thanks and hope you enjoy.

I've never gotten into Anthrax, and no matter how many times I try I cant get over Mustaines vocals so Megadeth isnt in regular rotation for me.

Well I cant help you with Anthrax because I love everything about them since young. Dave though, I know what you mean about the vocals, however I love his voice on every album from holy wars back, then he started talking more and singing more like a comic book charecter or something and I hate it, though I still listen to it, I skip a lot of songs. His new album is the best since holy wars. Especially the first 2 songs. Actualy I think the album is called rust in peace not holy wars, thats just my favorite song on it and Im in a bad habit of calling it that.
 
I've got nothing against Anthrax, just for some reason their stuff never grabbed me. I dunno
