if anyone has never been to the fish section of answers.yahoo.com, check it out. so many simple questions that are getting silly answers from people who dont know what theyre talking about. its pretty cool to be able to go over there when youre bored and just give decent answers to newbies in the aquarium world. prevents the deaths of thousands of bettas, guppies, platies, and goldfish im sure lol. plus whenever i see someone asking about rays, arowanas, pacus, piranhas, gars, lungfish, etc. im able to direct them here to get expert help from the people who know it all, which im sure can save many monsters out there from hard lives in tiny tanks or even death. if you ever get the chance, check it out, and when you see the questions about any ''monster'' or exotic fish, bring them on over here

(btw, not hating on yahoo or anyone on yahoo answers. just trying to provide help to those who dont know about MFK and could use our services to better themselves in the art of fish keeping :D )
 
just take a minute to consider how many people out there buy rtc's and arowanas everyday and bring them to 55 gallon homes. many of them get advice from places like yahoo because it is convinent, not knowing that 99% of yahoo is clueless about anything more than mollies. we can prevent tons of fish out there from horrible lives while also supporting both yahoo and MFK. Win-Win situation.

anyone agree?

im not talking about silly question lol i mean when people ask questions about monsters on yahoo. theyll never get good advice then. like this guy

Never really though of this just got on and was browsing and oh my some of the questions but what are even worse are some of the answers. From the looks of it some of these people really need our help seeing the answers they are getting. So I guess ill mosey on over there and give my part. I have a feeling though some of these people ar going to get me pretty angry pretty fast lol.

as if it matters? our job as monster fish keepers is to provide help and knowledge to those who need it, and if that means going to another site or drawing people here from another site, then so be it. as long as people are being helped, recieving good information, and their fish are happy and healthy weve done our job correctly in my opinion
