Favorite "Peacock"?

Whoa partner! Scianochromis is not aulonacara and therefore this does not qualify under the topic "What is your fave peacock?"
I like em though! Just got one last week.

Too many to name. lol. If I had to, I would have to say Aulonocara Hansbaenschi (Red should Peacock). They were the first cichlids I've ever had and, IMO, one of the most beautiful. They are amazing with the electric blue and red flash on the side. Beautiful!!

the rubiscens, maleri, ngara flametail, also, some of the hybrids can have really pretty color for an all male tank.

I must admit that I am not at all up on the correct names, speices, genus... etc....

My LFS guy told me it was a peacock so I thats what I call it....

I can see I need to take a trip to Ash's african cichlid primmer...!!!!

yes f1 is first generation. I breed german red peacocks and they are by far my favorite!!! They have such interesting personalities. and to watch them spawn is fun!!

i would have to say Aulonocara kandeense, lemon jakes, and any of the red peacocks.
