oddball, im confused, why did you post a pic of a penn international and call it an "international baitcaster"???????? you made it seem like it was a classification of reels. am i missing somthing? a penn international is a type of baitcaster.

All I did was cut the pic from the Penn on-line catalog.

Then, post the pics. I only grabbed pics of a few of the reels I use on my rigs.

Here's one I got as a gag gift. It's a yo yo reel for using when you don't have a fishing pole. Just unwind some line from the spring-loaded reel, throw the hook, bait, and line in the water, and set the spring release. Tie the reel to a branch or fence and return home. The reel spring sets the hook in the event of a nibble. When you come back, hopefully, there's a fish on the line.

i seen that yoyo reel when i was in idaho. was thinkin of getting one when i go back tommorrow and hitch it to a dock to catch live bait with a bait rig....
 
They can't keep the $2 yoyo reels on the shelves here. People buy them by the case for setting trot lines for catfish. They sell tons along with cane poles (cane pole users are not required to have a fishing license in MS) and redneck catfish soap.
