I chose Other and picked the Blue Acara, as they have really interesting colors at a young age, and get only to be 8 inches maximum for males. And they can also defend themselves pretty well get themselves out of danger.

I CHOSE OTHER.... AND BY THAT I MEAN ANY OF THE GEOPHAGUS ...MAINLY BECAUSE YOU CAN KEEP MANY SPECIES TOGETHER AND THEY NEVER EVER FIGHT TO THE DEATH....I,M ALSO PARTIAL TO MY BREEDING PAIR OF CRENICICHLA LEPIDOTA.... I'M NOT GAME TO PUT THEM INTO MY GEO TANK JUST YET....ALSO I DO LIKE PEACOCK BASS......IF ONLY I COULD FIND SOME IN SYDNEY WITHOUT HAVING TO MORTGAGE MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS POLL WAS A GOOD IDEA AS IT GETS EVERYONE TALKING..WELL DONE

:iagree:

I love them all Angles were the first (egg laying)fish that I managed to bread so have a soft spot for them even though would not last 1 min in any of my tanks now 1 had a first in a show with a green terror always loved Oscars my first so called big fish Discus remind me of my dad when he was breading them can I tick all the boxes there is something for every one there I tell you

I chose Oscars because of there puppy dog characteristic's i think they are great fish and i have kept a number of them over the years. I do like other large cichlids such as the Jag, Dovii, Pbass, Green terror and the list go's on and on !
