Favorite species of big fish

Both sexes vary in color depending on collection point.
Some males will show bars sometimes not only when stressed.
My males do not show bars.
And have a green face.
Some males are red like the females

I wish I had a large schoal of discus. I have angels right now though.

For some reason i dont find discus that appealing to me at least.

The males look just like the female when in breeding dress.

When no females around they change to this

The greenish/yellow body with the red fins and the reflective spots all over.

You have to see them in person. The males are a metallic sheen and the light reflects off them it doesn’t show well
