None of that seems particularly tannin rich. Nice pick up though. I would guess some mud on them could have gotten in the water but that’s about it.

Silica sand is something I've come to love. It bears much resemblance to natural sand found in rivers and lakes, plus is fine and dense which makes for easy vacuuming and no filter clogging.

Clown puke might be, depending on how much of what it's coloured with leaches into the water. Just my hypothesis though.
