Favorite type of kok

1. Semi-water kok
2. Half domed

This is perfect size and shape for kok IMO. I'm not a fan of giant water koks, Especially the ones that disable them or block some of there vision.

i think this would be my ideal look for a FH. anything bigger and it just looks disgusting, especially those 'water koks' :screwy:

Depends on the strain. If it's a kamfa I expect a big head if it's a zz I don't expect a huge one. It's all personal preference but the KOK comes with fish quality.

I prefer my kamalau

Not too big but not too small. Just right IMO and his KOK has plenty of room to grow with size.

Kind of agree in a way on your statements here. But hey you know, in the real standard. The bigger the kok, the higher quality your FH is. I don't know why...but that is just how it is.

Perfect size, maybe a bit smaller. Hate the tumor- like koks

It also depends on what you want the fish for. If you want the fish as a breeder I would suggest the male with the biggest head you can find that way he passes the genetics for big head throughout his fry. It's not like every fry is going to look like the dad but the percentage of big headed fry will be greater if the father has a huge head.

If you want 1 single fish that you never plan on breeding it would be a better idea to get something with a moderately sized nuchal hump if that is what you're looking for.
