Don't quote me on it, but I read that there are two localities of sun cat. One region is known for its 12" specimens and the other consistently produces cats that max out smaller, like 6"-8". Anybody else heard of this?
It is normal for sun cats to max out at around 12" in home aquaria, however I have large enough accomidations I am hoping they will reach the 18" mark.
