Favourite fish

Wanted to start a thread to see everyone’s favourite South or Central American cichlids, my previous favourite was my geopgagus brasiliensis but now my JD is quickly becoming my new favourite as he’s soo personable and I love his colours.
What’s your guys favourite cichlid?

A single favorite is hard to say, but a stand-out for me is the fish in my avatar, a Vieja Guttalatum that I grew out from a young fish, into a large adult.

Seems to tolerate bottom dwellers like lg plecos and Sydont cats if similar in size. I keep with Silver dollars and the Lent chases but almost never harms them. They live in a bit of fear as is the burden of the dither fish.
