Favourite stuff for my two big ones are Hikari Cichlid Gold pellets and strips of chicken breast. For the small ones, they will only eat bloodworms at the moment.

If you have ur baby bass on freeze dried blood worms like i do, it's very easy to get them on freeze dried krill as well. What you gotta do is break up the krill so it resembles the blood worms...Then they begin to compete with each other barely allowing the food to touch the water, before you know it their tummies are filled with krill.

How about brine shrimp, freeze dried or frozen?

Freeze dried plankton, or Pacifica Krill works too.

I tried blood worms once and found out I was allergic to it. That was after I received a shipment of 20 pounds of the frozen stuff and a kilo of the freeze dried ones.

I was feeding that stuff with latex gloves, gas mask, and safety glasses for a long time...but I survived that period in my fishkeeping days and lived to tell about it. :)

Dr. Foster and Smith will ship any quantity of frozen stuff for a $ 19.99 shipping charge.

The Kilo of Freeze dried bloodworms came from Jehmco. A kilo is a lot. Freeze dried stuff weighs very little. Volume wise, I filled up more than 5 gallons of plastic containers and was literally crying, itching, and sneezing every time I fed the stuff until I used the gloves and gas mask. :(
