Feather fin and shovelnose

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Has the shovelnose shown any aggression to anyone?

The shovelnose is the most peaceful fish in the tank. Keeps to himself, even when the featherfin is attacking it just swims away. It's not a tiger shovel, it's a golden so he isn't that aggressive or that big of an eater

My Oscar, mayan, or peacock bass doesn't bother the shovel nose just the featherfin it's so strange. I have kenyii hybrids in there too and they don't bother it

Ok I'm sorry but I have a crying 7 year old to deal with so I can't talk anymore. I hope someone else comes along and helps you.

Well I'm back and I'm starting to think that you may just have a synodontis eurupterus that simply doesn't like him. Do you have another tank that you could transfer the syno to for a short period of time? I had an aggressive green severum that I moved to another tank for a while and when I moved him back he calmed down.

Yeah might put it in the 75 for a little bit

I had an Ocelotted Synadonis and it did the same thing anytime another bottom feeder got close it started fighting. It being Green Phantom pleco, Orange seam pleco, or Raphael cats. Had to separate from orhers by moving it to a different tank.
