i recently brought a feather fin that my LFS sold as a lace.... or thats what my research told me but any ways ... i was wondering will he need speciality foods and how big will he get .....will he get big enough to eat my other fish?

Your Featherfin catfish will reach around 9'' in size. They are not fussy feeders, a diet of sinking pellets combined with frozen foods such as bloodworms would be adequate for him. Unless your other fish are tiny, he won't be able to eat them, but they have a reputation for harassing slower moving fish such as bichirs.
