It may not be sucking but rather cleaning other fish. My featherfin does this, mostly to my pleco but he's done it to other fish too and the fish usually don't mine.
My syno did the same thing years ago. I thought it was trying to eat the slime coat off the other fish but none of the fish ever seemed to be bothered by it. He eventually stopped doing it for no particular reason.
