FedEx is the single worst shipper in the entire US.

Yeah, thatd piss me off. This cost me over 10 bucks.

i would never ship fish by this crappy company.

I have the opposite results. but only use them for next day, way higher prices, for live fish etc.

When I got my sump tank, there was a package for someone else in my tank. I live in California and the box in my open tank was supposed to be delivered in Michigan. I had to call around to get Fed Ex to pick up the box. I could hardly get them to acknowledge their mistake. They took their time picking the box up.

It only takes you 6 days to get stuff from China? Do you use the standard shipping from China/China Post? Or do you pay for the faster delivery service? Just curious because using the standard service it takes 10-15 days for me to get stuff from China and in NYC I figured we probably get over seas mail faster then most locations and it would let me know whether it's ever worth paying for an expedited shipment.

Sorry if I'm derailing with that question. Back on topic it seems to me a persons location determines which is the worse of the two services, in my experience both are pretty atrocious. In my area UPS is hands down the worst. I work for Cablevision whose depo is across the street from the UPS depo and both are 1.4 miles from my home and have seen first hand how badly they treat the packages in this area. Leaving the Cablevision depo in the morning on several occasions I've had to navigate around dropped packages in the middle of the road. The UPS drivers forget to close their bay doors and don't properly secure anything and several techs have run over packages that have fallen onto the road accidentally. Never mind the fact that they refuse to even attempt delivery in certain areas. I live in the PJ's(Projects) and they will say we're not home never attempting delivery because they don't want to traverse through here. Then when you go try to pick up the package and it winds up missing because they don't unload the trucks. There have been times it's taken me a week after a packages arrived at the local UPS depo and me attempting several visits to the local pick up center to get a package from them because of that.

The only time it takes longer is if it sits at their post centers. When it gets to USPS hands, its super fast. Standard shipping always.

Drives me nuts when the package goes from ups to USPS. I had the same thing a package down the street and it took 3 days for USPS to get it to me. Tracking is good and bad. Almost wish I didn't know where my stuff was.
