I feed him once daily on Hikari Gold and he eats it all, then once a day i give him half a large prawn (Shrimp in US i think)

Does Shrimp/Prawn contain the same thing that Krill contains that makes the Flowerhorn deeper red?

Is this safe to feed him this? or should i just do it like once a week? he loves it and takes it from my fingers.

Also how often should i give him blood worms?

Heres a vid of me hand feedign him prawns...

blood worms should be used as a treat as well as prawns/shrimp. maybe 1 or 2 times a week. Pellets will be more effective and should be fed at least 2 times daily. I feed my fish 2 times a day. I usually start by feeding as much as they will eat, and once I get a good estimate on how many they can eat, I reduce it by 25%. I don't think they should be fed until their stomach is exploding. If you feed too much bloodworms, you'll get a constipated flowerhorn. I think prawns and krill have similar benefits as long as they are fresh.
