I've only seen 2 for sale before at a tank in Petco, and they were 59 cents each. Nyc sucks

its all about the connections of your lfs. my mom and pop store(which now has taken over 3 shopfronts next to it and has 9 employees lol) actually bets the prices of big chain stores.

Depends where I go. Petco down the street has them for 10c/guppie. At the independent its 12 for a dollar. At walmart I found its the cheapest for ghost shrimp (10c) and feeders , but thats just in my area (SD). If I do end up getting the feed from walmart I put them in a separate 10 gallon with salt first.
