There are quite a lot of wet pets that can be eaten. Pacu, RTC, Oscars, Dovii, Arapaima, Channel Cat, Plecs, etc.

It would make me a bit sick just thinking about what im eating though....

Eating something that you've grown attatched to would be hard to eat I'd imagine. If tomorrow, I was given a 2ft pacu, I'd eat it straight away.

Everything they eat winds up a nutritional goodies ready to be sorted into the many muscles and tendons of the cat. The waste is discarded as so. You are not eating what the RTC ate, you are eating its flesh.
