i recentlly bought a whole lot of goldfish and rosies from PETCO.
but i noticed 3 wierd looking fish(2 goldfish & 1 rosie)

well they had something like a fuzz on them and they're skin looked like as if it were "shedding"

i froze them, but if i were to feed them to fish and turtles..what would have happened?

Dispose them for precautionary measures instead of daring to feed them to the fish.

o.k..what kind if disease do they have?

Well no, but i can take them outta the freezer tomorrow and take some. i don't know if the white fuzz will show up good though..since the fish itself is turning white..

it's that one disease where fish have fuzz growing out of them(i have the name in Japanese), i wanted to know if it's bad for other fish & turtles... i don't know about the part where his skin was all peeling off though..

Well you can probably bet that you put what ever it is in your tank :)

Visible signs of fungus and disease are not the beginning of fungus or disease :) They are middle to end of the cycle :)

I would not purchase feeders from there anymore.. If you are going to feed, feeders ... Go and find a LFS with healthy looking feeders.

will do so. thanks!
and the fish were really crowded too, and the dead ones were either stuck to the filter in-take or laying still on the bottom.

sounds like they would make a lovely and healthful meal for your large and (I am assuming) more expensive fish. i'm sure parasites, fungus, and bacterial infections have some kind of nutritional value. . . . . right?

It sounds like either body fungus or columnaris, either way, discard them.

They're in the freezer but what should I do with them? bury them?

and is the fungus and colomnaris contagious? will it go to other fish in the tank?

I was gonna use them as bait for the next fishing trip..but would I introduce that disease by doing this?
